Guests call it “the most comfortable bed ever“, July 9, 2005

We have had this bed in our guest room for 4 months. It is used at least a couple weekends a month, and last month when our daughter got married it was used every night for 2 weeks. We put a foam “egg-crate” style mattress topper on this, and everybody who has slept on it has said that is the most comfortable bed they ever slept on.
It holds the air very well… we have only added air to it twice in 4 months. It inflates and deflates very quickly with the pump which is included.
It is a very thick mattress, so you must have VERY deep-pocket sheets. It is a true queen-size mattress, and standard sheets fit, as long as they have deep enough pockets. The sheets we use on this bed say they fit a 17″ mattress. They don’t fully encase the mattress, but they do stay on fine.

Great Sleep AND Great Price, August 26, 2005

We purchased this air bed so our guests no longer had to sleep on the highly uncomfortable “hide-a-bed” in the couch. After reading many reviews, we decided to go with the Simmons Beautyrest because 1) their regular beds are amazing and 2) the price of the queen air bed was basically unbeatable for the quality. Needless to say, we have not been disappointed. The in-laws recently visted for 7 days and slept on the air bed. We inflated the bed when they arrived and it remained fully inflated for all 7 days (and we did not need to even put additional air in!) The air pump is incredibly quick both for inflation and deflation…less than 3 minutes each way for our queen bed. When deflated, the bed stores easily in a provided storage bag. We highly recommend this air bed based on comfort, durability, ease of use, and outstanding price compared to other queen size air beds!
